11His work is already international because Cassper Nyovest wore his design to this year’s BET Awards. His journey has not been an easy one. He worked as a sales assistant all the while attending fashion school. His design aesthetic has been described as Afro – punk although for me there’s a calmness to his designs that is usually not associated with punk, it’s more of an “African Minimalist”. I love that his view of African is not in the literal sense, his clothes have a global feel to them. Sibusiso is anything but conventional, his use of fabrics like hessian (used mostly as coffee bean bags) is testament to that. I look forward to more from him and I definitely can’t wait for his SS19 collection.

His online store is coming soon but you can contact him on: and you can also follow him on  Twitter and Instagram . Here’s a look at some of my favourite pieces from him.
